FAQ’s Carriage Snaps

As long as the light housing for C7/C9 lights uses the standard base, and wires are not thicker than the T8 wire, you can use all Snap Light parts.

No. You can place the wire in the lower or upper slots to make your lights point straight out, upward, or downward.

We would suggest that you install the screw on the back or the bottom of the fascia board. Use the top part of the Carriage Snap to allow lights to point downward.

FAQ’s Gutter Snaps

You can use the Gutter Snap with Zip Snaps and Carriage Snaps.

No, you can wedge Gutter Snaps between roof tiles. There are grips on the back of the Gutter Snap that will hold the Gutter Snap in place.

If you would like to hang an additional string light, you can slide the wire in the slot of each Gutter Snap. This will allow you to hang C9/C7 lights and icicle lights using the same Gutter Snap.

Gutter Snaps fit over the top of gutters or can be wedged between roof tiles. No tools are necessary to install.

There are many varieties of gutters available on homes. Snap Lights will work on most gutters but we can’t guarantee that they will work on all gutters.
FAQ’s Sticky Snaps

Sticky Snaps give you the flexibility to hang lights without having to use a screw, nail, hook, or hot glue. You can hang lights on railings and around doors and windows with ease. No holes to leave behind when removed.

The Sticky Snap is compatible with the Zip Snap and Carriage Snap.

Virtually all non-painted smooth surfaces are best for the Sticky Snap. For example, vinyl frames around windows and doors, powder-coated railings, glass, fiberglass, etc.

Remove the red cover and do not touch any part of the sticky. Oil from your fingers will compromise the adhesion.

For best adhesion, it is recommended that you clean the area first and then let it dry before installing the Sticky Snap.

Using rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover will help to lessen the adhesion.

You can use the Zip Snap to hold string lights, icicle lights, rope lights, garland, signs, banners, and various decorations.

The Zip Snap is compatible with the Gutter Snap, Sticky Snap, and Screw Snap.
